Today we took a day trip to Billy's hometown of Louisville, KY. We hadn't been in awhile, so this was our first chance to try "The Cupcake Shoppe" even though it's been there for 2 years. I got the Coco Vanilla- chocolate cake with really good vanilla buttercream. He got Banana Chipped- a banana and chocolate chip cupcake with cream cheese frosting. Both had mini chocolate chips around the icing. We liked both, but the banana and chocolate chip cupcake was the favorite cake. I liked my buttercream icing best. We give them a solid 4 sprinkles. Especially since Billy's friend owns a jewelry store nearby and he bought me a necklace there. Cupcakes and jewelry, it was a good day.
