I had my baby shower last week at home in Cincinnati. The dessert was cupcakes from Firecracker Bakery. There were chocolate, white and carrot with buttercream icing and pink roses. This was a nice surprise to have cupcakes instead of cake, however the best surprise was having my fellow Cupcake Courtesan, Courtney there. She flew all the way from Salt Lake City to surprise me for my shower. We were able to taste test the cupcakes together. It was easily agreed upon that the carrot was the most flavorful and moist. The icing by itself wasn't special, but complemented the carrot cake nicely. We'll give it 3 1/2 sprinkles.
